After making the all rookie 1st team, Hirsch’s career took an unexpected downward turn, and his journey back is one of the most interesting out there. Although known more for his speaking on his battles with mental health and helping other athletes, his hockey career should not be overlooked. With a silver medal in the Olympics, a promising rookie season, and his incredible run in the CHL, Corey’s career is a big “what if.” Hershey talks to us about how good Alexander Mogilny was, playing for Mike Keenan, coming forward with his mental health battle and much more.
