Incorporates: 1. Receive/enter the kingdom of God (vv. 17, 24, 25, 29);

2. Inheritance of life eternal (v. 18)

In Luke 18:9-17 Jesus teaches us that humility arising from dependence and hope for mercy makes up a central attitude of followers of Jesus.

Blessed are those who dwell in the Lord's house, who are strengthened in the Lord and trust in the Lord.

The Christian's privileged position: Access, Satisfaction and Proximity.

Jesus charges His followers to persistently long for and pray for His return.

The works and ways of God are laid out across the world patiently waiting for God to be praised for all He has done.

In Luke 17 Jesus warns us to live with full readiness for the kingdom of God to come very soon.

When presented with divine revelation, blessing and brokenness may God be gracious to give us faith to see our need and His grace.

Jesus showed mercy to ten lepers. One of the lepers returned to embrace Jesus with saving faith.
