The world hates God and will hate Jesus’ disciples because they preach and live God’s truth, so we ought to prepare for persecution by taking hold of Christ and the helps He gives.

True believers have been united to the life-giving vine of Christ and by remaining in Him will bear the fruits of His life.

Out of pure love the Father made us to be His children; and because we are, Christ loves us and gives precious gifts to us, and we love Him and bear fruits for Him.
