to Him ranged from eager acceptance

to self-preserving hostility—

and nothing has changed.

Jesus radically transformed worship of the Father by becoming the better place of worship, by establishing a better basis for worship, and by making possible

a better way to worship.

The gracious gift of God is offered to the world without distinction

and when received by faith results in eternal salvation

and in enduring satisfaction.
