  • When Life Is Good, Don't Forget God
Hardship has a natural way of moving us closer to God. When life is difficult, we tend to pray more, read our Bibles more, and turn to God more. But when life is good, we tend to forget God. This was God's warning to the Israelites when they were about to enter the Promised Land - "When life is good, don't forget Me!" Many of us can relate to this important truth! How can we remember to stay close to God in the good times too? Find out in today's Bible study as Pastor Gary shares five principles from Deuteronomy 5-9.

  • Three Reasons To Keep God's Word
As we start a new book study through Deuteronomy, Pastor Gary takes a look at Chapter 4 where Moses begins to restate the Law of God to a new generation of Israelites. Before entering the Promised Land, Moses emphasizes three important reasons to keep God's Word and how it benefits three groups of people-ourselves, our neighbors, and our children. It's relevant truth for today! So join us for today's Bible study of Deuteronomy 1-4.

  • Inheritance
In the book of Numbers, the word "inheritance" is found 42 times. The inheritance that the Israelites are about to receive is LAND. The Promised Land. God had sworn it on oath to Abraham nearly 600 years earlier (Gen. 15:18). Their inheritance was the motivation they needed to persevere through the wilderness. In a similar way, God has promised us an inheritance in Christ which motivates us through difficult times as well. Follow along in today's study from the closing chapters of the book of Numbers.

  • Beware Of Balaam
In Numbers 22 we are introduced to a man named Balaam. He is hired by King Balak to curse God's people. But every time he opens his mouth, God puts a blessing on his lips instead of a curse. Realizing he can't curse God's people, Balaam resorts to a tactic that will have devastating consequences among the Israelites. It is still the same tactic that Satan uses today to destroy God's people. Find out what we need to learn from this passage in Numbers 22-25 as Pastor Gary teaches, "Beware of Balaam."

  • Born Again
Numbers 21 tells us that when the Israelites rebelled against God in the wilderness, He brought venomous snakes against them as judgment. But when Moses prayed on their behalf, God provided a remedy so that they would live. Jesus compares this remedy to His own death on the cross in John 3 when He talks about being "born again." What does "born again" mean and how can you experience it today? Find out in today's study with Pastor Gary Hamrick.
