On this special evening, Janie Alfred shares with us through 2 Corinthians 3 where we learn that God brings us through trials so we can learn to trust Him and realize that we are not sufficient in ourselves but that we need Him! Janie shares some of her amazing testimony and how the Lord brought her through such trying times but it was only as she would behold God that she realized she could make it through. When we go through trials we learn that we can trust in God, He won't fail us. When we behold Him we see His faithfulness, and goodness and His unfailing love. Beholding God enables us to go through the storms and through life knowing we can trust Him, He is good. Are you beholding Him?

In Acts 21, we see how Paul lived his life wholeheartedly for the Lord, no matter what happened on his journey. He was able to continue on the path God had him, no matter the circumstance because he was confident of 4 things: Our life belongs to the Lord, God is in control, God is in charge, and nothing can happen in our life but what God allows.

In Acts 20, we follow along with Paul as he continues his missionary journey of telling others the Good News of Jesus Christ. We learn how Paul is such an amazing example to us of one who is willing to give up everything for the sake of knowing Jesus Christ and making him known throughout the world.

In Acts 19, we see the boldness that Paul had to share the gospel and are encouraged to make a stand for righteousness and live our lives boldly for Christ.

In Acts 16, we learn about what it means to bring a sacrifice of praise to God, despite our circumstances or how we feel. Paul and Silas chose to rejoice and praise the Lord even while they were imprisoned and they saw God do great things as they chose to worship and their perspective changed.

In Acts 15, we study the amazing gift of salvation that we have been given. Terri points out three things: Salvation is not difficult (Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:4-9), Salvation is not distant (Deuteronomy 30:11-12), Salvation is not discriminating (John 1:12, John 3:16, Romans 10:4).
