From Mark 12:28-44. Jesus was asked about the most important command. He gave two answers: we are to love the Lord and love our neighbor. This passage also talks about Jesus as Lord and gives a great example of a poor widow who honored the Lord with her offering.

From Mark 12:13-27. In these two stories, some people came with some questions, intending to trap Jesus. It can be good for us to ask questions to God, but are we asking with a desire to submit to him and learn about his very good ways?

From Mark 12:1-12. In God's vineyard, he expects his people to do what he says. Sadly, we humans have a long history of rebelling against him and his ways. Will we faithfully submit to and serve the Lord?

From Mark 11:12-33. We don't always like when someone else is in charge. But will se submit to Jesus and his authority? Will we trust God to produce fruit in and through us? Will we line our lives up with King Jesus and his plans?

From Mark 11:1-11. In this Triumphal Entry story (often read on Palm Sunday), we see reason to rejoice, as God was bringing his salvation plans toward fulfillment through King Jesus.
