Things in life can be shaky at times and when things are unstable, our peace gets threatened.
How can we live a life a peace that God says we can when so much is going on in the world that
disrupts our peace? Let’s look to God’s Word for the answers.

What do we do when we are attacked by the enemy? We are called to put on the full armor of God. One of those armor pieces is the breastplate of righteousness. How does this protect us against the schemes of the enemy and how do we put it on?

What is truth? That’s a common question in society today. Truth is essential. So essential that we are commanded to put on the belt of truth so that all other pieces of the armor of God are held in place. So where do we find truth and how do we make it the center of all we think and do in our life?

Life can present challenges that seem overwhelming and often times we don’t know if we can fight them. In these challenges, we sometimes forget that God is the one leading us in battle and the One that will deliver. Today we see how God delivered Israel in battle in Joshua 10 and how He will also lead us to victory in our battles by delivering us from our enemies.

Would you say that you feel frustrated because you want to be delivered from something - a situation, an attack from the enemy, being stuck in the same place in life - yet you can’t experience that breakthrough of deliverance? Often times we struggle to move to the next place God has for us because of the sin we are still holding onto. However, once repentance takes place, the doors of deliverance are opened for freedom to take place.

When life gets tough, we are told to call on the name of the Lord. After we’ve done that, many
times we are given instructions on what to do, but we fail to do them and keep crying on the
Lord. This can lead to frustration as our problems don’t seem to be going away even though we
cry out to God. Today we look at the missing step of obedience in order to find deliverance.

The past can seem haunting. While God wants us focused on the future He has for us, many hours of our day are focused on the opposite of that. We often hold on to the negative of the past without remembering the good God has done. How do we overcome the things of our past so we can enter into the promise of our future with God?

Many desire to feel the love of God over them and to experience that love in their life. Sadly life experiences have tainted what the pure love of God really is. As we study through Ephesians 3 and I John 4, we will see what the love of God really looks like in our life and how we can have it deeply rooted in us.

When it comes to inheriting the promises of God over our life, we have daily decisions that will either draw us closer to those promises or further away. In those decisions, we are either rooted in the fear of man or the fear of God. How do we experienced being delivered from the fear of man so that we can fear God more and make decisions based on our reverence for Him?

Many of us are walking around in life not experiencing the promises God has for us. Why is that? While we may not want to admit it, could it be decisions that we’ve made in life and a willingness to not fight for what God has promised us are keeping us from those promises? Today we study Joshua 1 and how Israel prepared to enter into the promises God had for them and how we can do the same?
