Many of us are walking around in life not experiencing the promises God has for us. Why is that? While we may not want to admit it, could it be decisions that we’ve made in life and a willingness to not fight for what God has promised us are keeping us from those promises? Today we study Joshua 1 and how Israel prepared to enter into the promises God had for them and how we can do the same?

The root of bitterness is something that is buried deep inside many people and is one of the
greatest weapons of the enemy to keep people from experiencing freedom from bondage. In
this sermon we will be able to identity what bitterness truly is, what’s attached to it, how it works
in our life, and how we can be set free from it.

What are some things in life that have happened, are happing, or could happen that would cause you to trust God less, or even worse, not at all? Distrust in God will lead to a belief system that goes against the truth in God’s Word and lead us down a path back to bondage. How do we prevent this?

How many of you desire to be closer and have a better relationship with God? Have you ever wondered what is keeping you from having a closer relationship with God? Many of us get caught up in the daily-ness of life and forget the commitment we made to Jesus to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Today we study what idolatry is and how we can uproot it so we can have a more intimate relationship with God.

Something we may not think of holding us back from what God desires for us is comfort. Being rooted in comfort will not only keep you where you're at, but put you in a close position to going back to your former ways. Today we look at how we can get out of our comfort and into the promise God has for us.

Pride is often the great sin that we knowingly or unknowingly ignore. It opens the door for the
enemy to work all other forms of sin without us realizing it. How to do realize when we’re being
prideful and how do we uproot it in our life?

Shame can seem impossible to overcome at times and keep us in hiding from God and others. If we aren't careful it can get rooted in us to the point of inward deterioration. The good news is we have freedom from shame when we are rooted in Christ and we can be set free from shame.

We have been studying what it is to be set free and today we continue that as we see how God is greater, taking a journey through lessons of the parting of the Red Sea.

While we have total and complete victory in Christ, we still have an enemy out to steal, kill, and destroy the plans of God for our life. Rather than pretend nothing is there, we are going to understand 3 ways in how Satan tries to stop us from living in the victory Christ has given us.
