Three Warnings

One Glorious Hope

The baby born in Bethlehem is an eternal refuge. Therefore, for all who turn to Christ, the Lord provides refuge from His wrath.

8. It relieves us of thinking we can screw up God’s plan for our lives

Psalm 2:1-3

The advent of Jesus Christ is meant to increase our joy, daily, by revealing the depths of our depravity, the heights of Christ’s sacrificial love, and the victory given over the works of sin.

The grace of God doesn’t just forgive us of our sin, it also causes us to see the depths of our sin and our need for a Savior.

1 Corinthians 9:23-27

1. Make sure you’re running for the best prize!

2. Run with self-control and discipline.

3. Run with a gospel focus.

-There is way to run that disqualifies you.

4. Run motivated by joy.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-19

A Gospel Strategy:

1. Use your freedom to serve, not compromise.

2. Preach the Gospel in conduct, and content.

3. Live with urgency, not apathy.
