Part 3 of the Sheepish series focused on Psalm 23:3 ~ "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Take some time to look to God for direction, restoration, and give Him glory in the process.

This is the first week in our Sheepish series. We are unpacking Psalm 23, and this week the focus is verse 1, "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want." Our challenge is to be content with what we have, so take time to make a list of the blessings in your life and give thanks to God for all He has given you.

In Christ's death and resurrection, He took care of the payment for our sins and the cleansing us from those sins and the guilt that accompanies them. Doing so, Christ took care of the Jewish requirement as: 1) The sacrificial goat that was for the atonement or the "covering over" of sins, and 2) The scapegoat that was for the removal of sin. (Hebrew word "azazel" = to carry or take away)

2 Corinthians 5:15 MSGOur firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.
