Before there can be a Launch, there needs to be a "System Check". All of the systems must be thoroughly evaluated to ensure that everything is in proper working order. 

As disciples, the same is in order. We can discern the Lord’s work in us and see those places where we are strong and we can build on that foundation, as well as places where growth is possible.​

The conclusion to the Lord’s Prayer is not part of Jesus’ instruction. So where do these words come from? Why are they included?

And what are we saying when we pray them in conclusion to The Lord’s Prayer? 

According to His good and gracious will, God can and will accomplish all that He has promised for our good and His glory!

2 Corinthians 1:18-22

The Lord’s Prayer has become so rote that our minds can easily drift off as we recite it without much thought. But Jesus did not merely teach “a” prayer, but rather “how to” pray. These petitions serve as a springboard for our own individual prayers and draw us into deeper, heartfelt conversations with our gracious God.​

Luke 11:1-4

David is known as a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22). Nowhere else is this more on display than in the book of Psalms, half of which are attributed to David. The Psalms not only give voice to our own hearts, but they exhibit the blessings of a heart-to-heart relationship with God.​

Perhaps we are among those who have thought, maybe even said, “I prayed. But it didn’t work. So what’s the use?” God assures us that He not only hears our prayers, but that He answers our prayers in the best way possible according to His wisdom and will. We can trust God no matter what!
