There is meaning behind all of it – all the celebrations, all the traditions, all the parties. The search to find meaning will lead some to despair. For us, it is a search that leads to Jesus, born for us. He is the “more” that many are seeking. He is the “yes” to God’s promises to all people. And we learn that he has been searching for us this whole time.

Romans 15:4–13

Jesus is returning to judge the living and the dead. We live in the present, anticipating the work of Jesus and yearning for the End of All Things. Our present is different because our eternity is in view.

Matthew 24:36–44

Christ is the center of Scripture—He is the key to understanding everything. When we go to the Bible we can always expect it to point us to God’s work through His son, Jesus, on our behalf.

John 5:36b-40

Although we live an imperfect life, God sees us through Christ as perfect, completely covered by the death and resurrection of Christ. God declares a sinner to be righteous because of Jesus. We are all saints in the Lord!

Romans 7:14-25

God is rich in mercy because of His great love for us. Without God’s work in our lives, we are completely lost. What we cannot do, God does completely. You are loved, saved, and alive eternally because of Jesus. What an immeasurable gift!
