How did you get here? Regardless of how you came to it, your faith is the result of someone (maybe lots of people) who passed it on or shared it with you. None of us can do this alone...and we aren't alone! God gives us a community of believers along with His spirit to help us stand firm in faith.

God doesn't leave any question as to how he feels about people. God shows just how much he loves each and every person in this world because He sent His Son Jesus for us. Through Jesus' humility and sacrifice we get to hear about and receive the incredible love God has for each of us.

Jesus has sent us into the world to go, teach, and baptize, but there are times we still become anxious when we think about sharing the faith and trust we have in Him. However, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have the assurance in the promise that He will equip and strengthen us to share the gospel of Christ’s death and resurrection with all people.

Accountability, especially in our faith life, is key as we share our belief and trust in God. Whether we consider ourselves leaders or not, we all need trusted people around us to keep us accountable to the truth that God’s Word speaks to us.

God is still at work in his church today, preaching the work of God and restoration through the cross. We look forward to the full realization of that restoration in the world to come. In the meantime, we are people of restoration and reconciliation.

When we think about our lives, we often think about us being the center of the story: "All of history is just context for my story that I am living." However, when we read the Bible, we realize that we are not the center of the story, but rather we are a part of God's greater story. The Bible is God's story of His creation and how He is claiming His creation back from the corruption of sin. We are a part of God's story of redemption. God is the one who created all things and He is the one who is still in control.

Do you prefer to train alone? It turns out many do, but there are great benefits to training together. God has welcomed us into community through Jesus' sacrifice. Drawing on that, we can be a supportive community for our brothers and sisters (and them for us) as we train together.
