It seems that we’re either coming out of a storm, in the middle of a storm or there’s a storm on the horizon and its only a matter of time before it disrupts our lives. In other words, life can be really difficult, but through it all Jesus is with us!

What we do with our wealth, whether we have a lot or a little, is what matters.... Are we being generous with what God has graciously given to us? Or are we unwilling to give or to share with others?

The command for us, as Christians, is to be a neighbor to everyone, especially those in need. See a need, meet the need.

We need to serve. Be generous. Do what we can do. Whatever that is. And God will show up and do what only He can do.

We live in a world that desperately needs light. We can either fade into the darkness of this world or we can be the light that our world, our culture is dying for.

Jesus wants to use you wherever you are to influence whoever you’re with. Not simply to wear the latest trends, to have a sweet haircut, or to watch the next best tv show, but to influence people to know and follow Him!

While in a foreign land Daniel was immersed in a completely different culture. He had every opportunity to blend in, to conform, but he was determined to follow God above anything and everything in his life. And because of that Daniel stood out.

Daniel was determined not to cross another line. That moment defined his future. God used Daniel to transform Nebuchadnezzar and the kingdom of Babylon. Draw the line. And whatever temptation lies in front you, keep your eyes focused on Jesus.

If you choose to transform, you need to constantly and intentionally remind yourself that you are citizen of heaven. You are a child of God.

No matter how decayed you think your life or your situation may be, roll away the stone and let Jesus in.
