We discuss Coroner's US Premiere and the circumstances that led up to it. We also review  S01E01 (Black Dog). This episode introduces us to Jenny Cooper, a character brought to life by M.R. Hall in 8 novels that he began releasing in 2009. As the title gives away, she is a coroner struggling with her own personal demons who feels a passion for justice and thus performs homicide investigations while the police take a nap.
