I created a Facebook post that was so well received I had to create into a podcast about it! This is a short and impactful listen to reinforce all the things I feel every woman and/or teen should know. Share this with a friend, co-worker, or young woman in your life. This a message that needs to be heard often.
Anytime we venture into something out of the norm other people's opinions creep in. Too often we give our power to what other people think and it holds us back from living our best lives. In this episode I discuss a life lesson I learned from my 5-year old about how I unknowingly was conditioning her to care what other people think. I also give some powerful tools how to stop this nasty habit in your life.
Join me as I chat with Donna Manely, founder of One Minute Closer about her journey in a man's world of chemical engineering, becoming a Corporate Refuge, losing her identity, and learning how to work from home with no schedule. WHAT!
In today's episode Jessica DeLuise, founder of Eat Your Way to Wellness joins me to discuss how she left her full-time job as a Physician Assistant to teach the world how you can be in charge of your own wellness while still eating delicious food!
She is a New Yorker with quick wit and an Italian who loves food, so she has combined those to teach us about food in a way that is easy to understand and allows for laughs along the way.
In this episode I talk about the day I was in complete alignment with my highest and best self and what that was like. I also teach how to make difficult decisions. Do you make decisions based on your current circumstance or do you make decisions out of possibility? When you make decisions out of where you are today, you make it out of fear. When you align with your highest and best self you make the decision out of possibility! Doing this will help guide you to the right answers and not second guess yourself. If you are feeling stuck in life just know the answers are inside of you, however we block them from ourselves by living in the fear of right now and chalk it up to being stuck. Join me and let's discuss!

In this episode I discuss how to understand the feelings and signs that get you in alignment with your purpose. I also teach you simple steps to get yourself back into alignment when we fall of the path...which happens often! It's really all about learning how to turn on your internal GPS and set the right coordinates.

On this episode of The Corporate Refugee Podcast, I interview Karen Moffitt, owner of Little Miss Moffitt Bakery. She shares her journey of being a single mother of 4, working in a demanding corporate job and having a passion and gift for making amazing baked goods. Writing letters to youngest son while he was at Marine Corps Bootcamp gave her the courage to leave her job and launch her business even though she thought she had no reason to be an entrepreneur. This is a story of sacrifice, passion, courage and cookies. A must listen!
