EP 078 - Brandee Garr, the creator of Brandee Gaar Coaching, began her career in the hospitality industry working in corporate event planning. She loved her job and didn’t have plans to leave her career as she was moving up and following her career and life plans. However, her transition out of corporate began when Brandee became a mom, and her job was taking way too many hours away from her family. Brandee took the risk of leaping without a plan and quickly discovered her love for building a business. Not only does Brandee work in the event planning industry, but she has pivoted during Covid to coach entrepreneurs to building their successful businesses. EP 076 - Donnie Boivin, the owner of Success Champions, spent four years in the Marine Corp before he began his career in sales. Donnie was successful growing multiple businesses and was part of a 7-figure buyout before walking away from it all. He says, “I always took what was in front of me,” thinking it was the next right step in my life, versus doing what I knew was right for me. EP 074 - Alesia Galati, the owner of Alesia Galati Podcast Management, started her career in the industrial gas industry. She worked her way up the ranks to become a Production Planner and eventually relocated to continue her growth within the company. All the while, Alesia was interested in side hustles and began testing out different business models to see what she liked. In March of 2020, Alesia was laid off from her job and quickly began working to launch a business that could support her family. She’s six months into her full service podcast management services company and loving every day that she is able to work for herself and spend more time with her young children. Alesia shares her story of negotiating pay raises, starting side hustles, and the push to launch her own business. This episode is fun and full of insights for anyone who’s looking to take the next steps for their business.
