IT'S THE SEASON FINALE! On today's episode, I have the honor of speaking with April Jones, a Latina breast cancer who was diagnosed at age 30. April shares her story of receiving the news, why she continues to share her story as well as things that inspire her. For breast cancer awareness month, my hope is that my listeners become their own patient advocates and start practicing self breast exams to become more comfortable with their bodies and for early detection.
