If there’s one positive thing you can learn from a crisis once you're through it, it’s how to prevent it from happening again.
The COVID-19 pandemic crisis has left thousands of people in a financial crisis. Right now, it’s more important than ever to assess your situation and create a strategy. This will ensure you are safe and secure the next time another crisis rolls around.
Today on the Corrie Lo Show, I’m speaking to Matt Newmann about Financial Disaster Planning.
Matt, a financial services wholesaler and father to three small children, was diagnosed with grade three astrocytoma (brain cancer) at 39 years old. His memoir, Starting At The Finish Line, chronicles the journey that he and his entire family took together which got him to a place of clarity, understanding and appreciation.
After our conversation, you’ll have actionable strategies you can take now to ensure you are secure if another crisis comes around.
Which of these actions will you be taking to increase your financial preparedness? Leave a comment below.

Most CEO’s read on average 4-5 books a MONTH. The average American reads .11 hours a day. That’s less than 7 minutes folks!!
Let’s break it down. If a book takes on average 4 hours to finish, and CEO’s read 4 of them. That’s 16 hours a month. Meaning they’re out reading the average joe 13 hours minimum.
If you want to live an extraordinary life, it requires extraordinary action. CEO’s reading habits demonstrate this.
So if you want to get ahead, and do so quickly, adopting a reading habit is a great place to start.
I myself am an avid reader. I read 2-3 on a good month. Today I’m going to be sharing the books I read in January - March of 2020, and a quick review of them.
After, you’ll have a list of books you don’t want to miss out on so you can start your own reading habit today.
Can't find enough hours in the day to start your reading habit? Tackle that excuse and gain an additional 5 hours each week by downloading my favorite 5 automation tools. http://www.corrielo.com/5tools5hours.

If the sound of Christmas music crowds in the stores or the thought of having to visit your family for dinner during the holidays, sends your anxiety into absolute overdrive and this episode is for you.
Today I'm going to share five different ways to manage your holiday stress so you can relax a little bit more and enjoy the holidays for the joyful time it has the potential to be.
I have always absolutely hated the holidays from when I was a child. It's one of those things I always felt like I was being forced, decorate the tree and sing the carols and do the music and it just never sat right to me.
When I finally decided to take a look at the holidays and decide what felt right to me, you know, what traditions and what activities I actually wanted to do that I could potentially enjoy. It really changed the way I started to think about them and today I'm going to share with you five ways I went about doing it and now I look forward to this holiday season instead of dreading it.

Do you struggle with lost motivation?
If every single day you wake up with absolutely no idea what you should be doing or why you're doing what you do, then this episode for you. You'll want to stick around because by the end you'll know exactly what to do when your motivation isn't working for you so you could begin feeling more productive, starting today,
Motivation seems easy for overachievers like myself. That is until life throws you a curveball. In my own experience, I had a miscarriage, an abusive relationship, divorce, and then experienced suicide loss all within four years and for my type-A overachiever personality, these obstacles were really difficult. That’s because my healing got in the way of my progress moving forward.
Slowly but surely as I experimented with different things as well as interviewed a ton of people on the subject, I think I eventually cracked the code to how to keep yourself motivated.

Do you ever struggle with keeping a consistent morning routine?
This is one of the most common questions I receive from both my clients as well as my followers. So today I'm going to dedicate an entire episode on the topic.
I've never been a morning person naturally. If you ask my mom, one of the things that she loves to embarrass me with is telling my friends and family on how difficult it was to get me out of bed to go to school as a kid.
It wasn't until my college years that I started reading books about what the most successful people do in the morning. I then learned exactly how beneficial a morning routine can be. I read several books on the topic and I've done a ton of experimentation for myself on how to make a morning routine that works for me.
So with that said, I have a ton of tips and tricks that I can share with you today to learn how to create one that works for you.
