15 years ago this week, the Federal Government of Australia issued a heartfelt apology for the treatment of Indigenous peoples. At the time then Liberal frontbencher and now Federal Opposition Leader, Peter Dutton boycotted the apology by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
Dutton has since apologised for his position a decade and half ago, and has once again issued another apology in Parliament this week.

I never thought this would happen! To be honest I never thought of it being a possibility. It’s been revealed that the classic British sitcom Fawlty Towers that aired on BBC2 in 1975 and ’79 will be coming back.
With just a dozen episodes made, a few years ago Fawlty Towers was named by a panel of TV comedy experts, the best British sitcom of all time.
Co-creator and star, John Cleese is excited about this after three failed US versions, where he said in 2009 there would never be another series with the original cast.

In an age of faux outrage, where the latest position contradicts the previous position, the Reserve Bank of Australia has decided that the next generation of the Five Dollar note will not feature the new Monarch, instead there’s expected to be a move to celebration of the nations First Australians.
No surprise the Conservative side of politics is jumping up and down. Personally I think it’s the Liberal Party’s trying to remind they’re still there after their defeat in the 2022 Federal Election.
Obviously there’s more to the story than the Labor party trying to cancel the Monarchy.

Last week it was the end of the third block of hearings in Brisbane regarding the ‘Robodebt’ Royal Commission a coalition government scheme that was not only illegal, but it also had a detrimental effect on the very lives of those the Centrelink system was created to protect. Some Centrelink benefit recipients even took their own lives.
More downright shocking information has surfaced in the third lot of hearings from Queensland.
