Cosmic Cuts

“Infrasound” is low-frequency sound, lower in frequency than 20 Hz aka the normal limit of human hearing. Infrasound is characterized by an ability to cover long distances and get around obstacles with little dissipation. Obstacles like walls, haters, self-doubt, and the broken system.

This entry in the Infrasound mix series is cut by @marion-muthiani aka nowisgood, we gave her an open ended request to make whatever she feels and in this case we get dark introspective vibes with a bit of a edge. When asked about the title, she said "Honestly if you’ve watched barbie you’ll know, have you seen the scene where she says do you guys ever think about dying?" We were totally floored by this mix, hope you all enjoy!

Welcome to Volume VI! This is a tribute to Robert Earl Davis, Jr. aka DJ Screw who was born on July 20, 1971. The homie blazed trails by slowing down tracks and chopping them up to fit the the vibe of Houston TX: humid hot days rollin in a slab, blunt lit. These tracks feature DJ Screw himself and a collage of artists from around the world who carry on the 3rd Coast tradition. Curated by @djdelsur
