Mercury retrograde doesn't just affect the area of your chart where it's happening. It can also bring up themes from other parts of your life, which is why a retrograde can sometimes feel like it's stirring up several things at once. Understanding how Mercury rules your chart gives you another layer of context for what's coming up and what might need a second look.

In this episode, Sarah and Kenzie are exploring the other areas of your life impacted by Mercury retrograde. They explain how Mercury's rulership of Gemini and Virgo connects the retrograde to two additional houses in your birth chart, creating a bigger story than the house where Mercury is actually moving backward.

Tune in this week to learn which two houses Mercury rules in your chart based on your rising sign, how those areas of life might show up during every Mercury retrograde, and why the pre-shadow and post-shadow periods matter. Sarah and Kenzie walk through all 12 rising signs, sharing examples of how Mercury retrograde can bring up everything from work routines and family conversations to relationships, finances, creative projects, and career plans.

What You'll Discover:

• Why Mercury retrograde can affect more than the house where the retrograde takes place.
• How Mercury's rulership of Gemini and Virgo connects two additional houses to each retrograde.
• How to identify your Mercury-ruled houses using your rising sign.
• What the pre-shadow, retrograde, and post-shadow periods mean.
• Why Mercury retrograde may feel more prominent for mutable rising signs and people in Mercury-ruled years.
• How Mercury retrograde can bring opportunities to revisit work, relationships, finances, home life, creative projects, and more.
• How to connect the different houses involved to understand the bigger story of a Mercury retrograde.
• Why retrogrades can be an opportunity to reconsider, review, and rework parts of your life rather than simply something to get through.

The Venus retrograde is here to help us revisit the things we thought we understood: our relationships, our values, our desires, and what we actually want to build our lives around. The good news is this isn’t about everything falling apart. It’s about getting honest enough to refine what matters.

In this episode, Sarah and Kenzie are diving into the Venus retrograde and exploring why this six-week cycle feels so significant. They break down what the Venus retrograde actually means, why Venus moving through Scorpio and Libra creates such different experiences, and how this cosmic shift can bring old relationships, desires, and patterns back to the surface.

Tune in this week to learn how the Venus retrograde can show up in your chart, what to pay attention to during the Scorpio and Libra portions of this cycle, and how to work with this energy instead of fighting it. Sarah and Kenzie explore the difference between wanting something and actually feeling satisfied once you have it, plus they break down what this retrograde may bring up for each rising sign.

What You'll Discover:

• What Venus retrograde actually means and why this cycle happens less frequently than Mercury retrograde.

Astrology is about more than just reading a chart. It’s the people you meet, the stories you rewrite, and the moments that make you see your own placements differently.

In this episode, Sarah shares her experience attending the United Astrology Conference (UAC), one of the biggest gatherings in the astrology community. She talks about the classes that inspired her, the mentors and astrologers she connected with, and what it was like to attend a conference simply as a learner rather than as a speaker.

Tune in this week to hear Sarah’s biggest takeaways from UAC, including the importance of finding beauty in every placement, the astrology techniques she discovered and wants to explore further, and the unexpected connections that made the entire experience feel a little bit fated.

• Why rewriting the stories we tell ourselves about our birth charts can change how we see our placements.
• The astrology lessons and perspectives that stood out most from the conference.
• Sarah’s biggest takeaways from teachers like Frank Clifford, Nina Gryphon, and Kelly Surtees.
• How attending an astrology conference creates opportunities for connection, community, and learning.

Tune in this week to learn how to add more nuance to your annual profections by looking at multiple guiding planets, planetary condition, and sect. What You'll Discover:

• A refresher on annual profections and how to find your theme of the year.
• Why your profected house ruler is your guiding planet or time lord for the year.

What if one of your astrology placements has been giving you access to a whole set of tools and resources you’ve never fully recognized? Sometimes the things that come most naturally to us are the very things we overlook, and domicile placements are a perfect example of that.

In this episode, Sarah and Kenzie are diving into domicile in astrology and breaking down what it means when a planet is in the sign it rules. They explore why domicile is considered one of the strongest and most resourced placements a planet can have, why it doesn’t automatically mean something will be easier or luckier, and how these placements show up in everyday life.

Tune in this week as Sarah walks through the traditional domicile placements planet by planet, from the Sun in Leo to Saturn in Capricorn and Aquarius. You’ll learn how to recognize where your planets have their “home base,” how those placements can become natural strengths, and how to apply this framework even if you don’t have any domicile planets in your own chart.

What You'll Discover:

• Why a planet in domicile has access to its full set of tools and resources.
• Why domicile does not necessarily mean “easy” or “lucky.”
• The traditional domicile placements for each planet..
• How to use planetary rulers to add more depth and context to your chart.
