Brian and Alex are extremely honored to welcome our first guest, Shana Galbraith, LPC. Shana has a mystical and metaphysical mindset which informs and influences her empathic counseling efforts with people who are neurodivergent as well as persons who may suffer from addiction issues, psychosis, and other issues.

Shana illuminates the experience of schizophrenia for Brian and Alex. Brian postulates that many people who carry these inclinations might have shamanic tendencies. Alex recounts a couple of incidents in which people who displayed these tendencies on Portland's waterfront demonstrated unusual telepathic activity.

Where do we go at night? Is a dream a hallucination? Brian describes how to become more lucid, and how it is a way to understand and attempt to experiment with the rules of this shared realm.

Brian teaches Alex some major ways to help listeners obtain more lucidity in the dreamscape. One is called a "reality check." Another tip Brian describes is trying to manipulate one's attempt to breathe in the dream state. Brian also describes the "wake back to bed" technique.

Alex asks about the difference between lucid dreaming & astral projection, and Brian shares anecdotes from his successful astral projection sojourns.

Many esoteric and cosmic people report having experiencing a heavy October vibe. When leaving Mormonism years ago, Brian discovered that he has a very large problem with censorship and controlling information dissemination. He saw this endemic throughout LDS church leadership. Cue Brian's surprise when, in 2021, he sees similar phenomenons occurring in developed countries across the globe. Brian explains to Alex that even if an opinion is "bad," or incorrect, it still needs to be dragged out into the public square and addressed. Truth can stand on its own, and truth can always override lies and control.

One trick that authoritarians like to employ when attempting to control a populace involves dehumanizing a demographic that they deem undesirable. Today we think that this is a problem that is relegated to the history books or only seen in Third World countries, however in 2021 we can see clues and indices that employing dehumanizing turns-of-phrase and talking points can make it easier to marginalize people with whom authority disagrees and remove them from basic functions of society. Even though situations seem heavy, Brian and Alex remain optimistic that people will not consent to such manipulation.

Brian Jarvis and Alex Liberato have a conversation in which we dive into their experiences and perceptions of Mormonism. In case you are unaware, both of us grew up as Latter-day Saints. We both served two-year missions internationally and at one point were very strong adherents to this religion. Both of us have left the church years ago.

Today we wax nostalgic and share our fondness for certain aspects of this culture, but also share loads of criticisms as well. Some topics we discuss include:
