Jesus' true chosen ones will not stumble in the darkness buy will walk in the light, staying faithful to Him and receiving Him. May this exhort and encourage us to remain faithful to Jesus, to rest in His love and grace, which He freely and graciously bestows.

These verses show Jesus' final, last ditch effort, His final appeal, His last invitation to trust Him, believe into Him, and receive Him. All of humanity is not able to believe into Jesus and does not want to believe into Jesus, but we all should receive Jesus. Jesus makes his final appeal to the crowd, calling them to believe into Him. John the Evangelist gives us more info here about why people were not receiving or believing Jesus.

Come, decide to follow Jesus, who is the seed who had to die to give life and who is the Light of the world. Follow Him by dying to self, so that you may become a son of light, trusting in Him. Because Jesus died, a decision must be made by everyone: either you decide to follow Him, believing into Him, or you reject Him. And if you reject Him, you will be judged like the ruler of this world.
