The defendant argues the plaintiff is messy and was not a good tenant. He’s countersuing for two months of rent.

Then, The plaintiff admits she is a recovering alcoholic residing at a sober living home. She became friends with the defendant during recovery, but she’s suing her for a balance due on a loan and stolen money. The defendant says she is two years clean from a crack cocaine addiction. She says she’s being sued for more than she owes, and she’s countersuing for harassment.
