Identity Politics was a prominent national story 2-4 years ago, but it never stopped. Identity Politics has been simmering and impacting the American culture.
Identity Culture has two sides: Good and Bad. The Good is what we should strive for as Americans. The Bad is what we see, hear and experience. The Bad is about division and power.
The Administrative State is comprised of the federal agencies of the Executive and Legislative branches using their power to create and enforce their own rules. This episode provides historical context, current examples, and reasons why you should care.
Progressivism began as a movement in response to the bad of the industrialization of the United States. The goal of the original Progressivism was to move to more equal social conditions for Americans consistent with the original American principles. There were Republican and Democrat progressives.
Today, Progressivism is no longer about progress to improve, it is about progress to move farther down the path until the issue falls off of a cliff.
For Part 3 of the Mental Health mini-series, Counter Thought is joined by Mallory Garshnick to discuss a positive mindset, her Daily Dose of Positivity, and what she means by "positivity is a muscle that needs to be flexed."

2022 is almost here! What resolutions should America have for the new year? 2021 was filled with progressive politics and culture being forced upon our country. It is well past time to turn away from progressivism, and take back our country in the names of freedom and Jesus Christ.
Also, Jessica Dalton is no longer a co-host of the podcast. She withdrew herself from the role after Episode 29. She will be missed.
As part 1 of a mini-series about mental health in the United States, we are joined by Hope Eason (Instagram: @hope.thebeauty.eason). Hope Eason discusses with us her personal mental health story, and her involvement with mental health in her community as part of the broader conversation about mental health since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
We discuss the responsibility for the rise in mental health issues amongst teenagers, as well.
Counter Thought 2.0 is here: Jessica's first episode as a co-host! Join Brian and Jessica as they discuss the need for America to be restored to Conservative principles and the Christian faith. Will political Republicans march to the same beat to pass and stop impactful legislation? Will Christians act with love toward those they disagree with?

At age 35, I have decided to now live by the famous proverb "Fortune Favors the Bold." I believe living in this way creates a life of opportunity--I am applying the proverb to my life professionally, personally, and for this podcast.
I believe more Americans also need to live by the proverb to enhance and cultivate a culture of action and drive for the life we want individually, and for America collectively.
Also, this is the final episode as a solo host. I AM THRILLED to announce that Jessica Dalton is joining me as a co-host! First episode in the new format will be released next week!
