It was pretty early on in Paul’s evangelical ministry when he realized that the message he was sharing was being rejected by a lot of people. He was telling the people that the gospel message was for everyone - whether you were jewish or gentile. A lot of religious leaders of the day didn’t appreciate hearing that! Paul’s message was definitely counterculture!
