**Who is an angel of light?** Learn how to recognize an angel of light in today’s enlightening broadcast, as Joseph Z exposes the many ways the devil gains access to people to influence them in the physical world. 

Joseph explains that God is always speaking, but there are also messengers of deception that appear in various forms, as indicated in 2 Corinthians 11:14. This verse shows how Satan can transform himself into an angel of light to lead people into doing his bidding. He expresses concern over people's obsession with the supernatural, particularly their fascination with angels, as this infatuation creates an environment ripe for deception.

He cautions against sensationalizing supernatural encounters, warning that this can lead to deception, especially self-deception. Paul gives a strong warning in Galatians 1:8, stating that anyone, even an angel, who preaches a gospel other than the one he has preached should be accursed. Additionally, in 2 Corinthians 11:13, we are cautioned about false preachers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. True angels and servants of God, Joseph clarifies, will always direct all glory to God alone, pointing to Jesus and the Father.

Joseph also refers to Matthew 24:24, which reminds us that false prophets will arise to deceive many, even the elect. He urges us not to think or act beyond what is written in God’s Word. He explains that an angel of light is a false angel pretending to be a messenger from God, with the intention to deceive in order to gain access to us and carry out their agenda in the physical world. When in doubt about the authenticity of an encounter, he encourages us to cast it out. While a true angel will remain, a deceptive one will flee at the name of Jesus.
