The predicament we now face is simple. Agroindustrial “innovation” in a previous era hoped to prevent the ecosystem disaster of DDT predicted in Rachel Carson’s seminal book in 1962, Silent Spring. However, this industrial agriculture movement has created a worse disaster: a toxic environment and, consequently, a toxic food supply. Pesticide use is at an all-time high, despite the fact that biotechnologies aimed to reduce the need for them in the first place. Today these chemicals find their way into our livestock and food crop industries and ultimately onto our plates. Many of these pesticides are the modern day equivalent of DDT. However, scant research exists on the chemical soup of poisons that our children consume on a daily basis. As our food supply environment reels under the pressures of industrialization via agrochemicals, our kids have become the walking evidence of this failed experiment. What’s Making Our Children Sick? exposes our current predicament and offers insight on the medical responses that are available, both to heal our kids and to reverse the compromised health of our food supply.

Mauricio Bustamante has over 60 years of professional experience as an actor, starring in numerous theatrical productions throughout the United States. He has also been a part of the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute since 1975, has been part of the acting faculty since 1994 in New York City.

Mauricio is now appearing in films by filmmakers like Ira Sachs, Francesco Saviano, Guillermo Ivan, Jaime Dezcallar, Victor Cruz, Keren Atzmon, and Angelique Letizia, whose films have appeared in some of the most prestigious international film festivals around the world from 2007 to the present.

As a founding member of IS/MB Productions, Mauricio has starred in two productions off-Broadway, and three short films, "Closing Notice", "Hearts N' Flower" and "Whatever Happened" with Irma Sandrey.

Specialties: Mr. B. has also taught acting to children from ages 7 - 11 at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in NYC. Among his young students, there are Broadway and film performers. Also, speaks fluent Spanish and is a member of MENSA International.

Richard Poe was born in Portola, California, and later moved to his "hometown" of Pittsburg, California. He attended high school there, and then graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1967. After a stint in the army during the Vietnam War, he got his first theater job with the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, appearing in productions of St Joan, Hadrian VII, Rosencrantz and Guilderstern are Dead, and Oedipus Rex. He toured the country with Dame Judith Anderson, who played Hamlet at the age of 73 to Richard's Rosencrantz. Tour stops included Carnegie Hall and all of America's major cities. He played major roles at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, at Houston's Alley Theater, Syracuse Stage, Hartford Stage Company, Center Stage Baltimore, Goodman Theatre, Long Wharf Theater, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Huntington Theater. He played Henry Higgins in Pygmalion opposite Roma Downey as Eliza Dolittle; George Antrobus in The Skin of Our teeth opposite Marcia Gay Harden as Sabina; with John Lithgow on Broadway in M. Nick Drago, a native Texan and graduate of Oklahoma City University, is a dancer, writer and producer for the film and television industry. Drago, now residing in Los Angeles, has appeared in roles in front of, as well as behind the camera, in numerous productions over the past 17 years.

His television credits include Scrubs, Wizards of Waverly Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh Beat Band, Dancing with the Stars, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Lucifer, Schooled, Bravo’s Step It Up & Dance, Terminator, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Wet Hot American Summer, How I Met Your Mother, Goliath, The Afterparty, Fuller House & Glee. Drago’s live televised performances include MTV’s VMAs, Fashion Rocks with Rihanna, The Backstreet Boys, The Emmys, Golden Globes, The Video Game Awards and The People’s Choice Awards.

He has felt fortunate to appear in music videos for Jessica Simpson (Boots), My Chemical Romance (Helena), Finger Eleven (Paralyzer), Capital Cities (Safe and Sound) and others for One Republic, Duran Duran, Demi Lovato, Will Butler, Melody Gardot, and the All American Rejects. Among others, he has appeared in films such as La La Land, Alvin & The Chipmunks (as Theodore’s Dance Double), The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, Hop, The Muppets, G.I. Joe 2 and Vice.

Commercially, Drago has worked with Exxon-Mobil gasoline, Jaegermeister, Smithfield Ham, Ford, Dickies, Delta and San Miguel Beer. He has also appeared alongside Jillian Michaels (The Biggest Loser), and Leslie Sansone (Walk At Home) as talent in their respective fitness videos.

His production company, Another Good Sandwich (www.anothergoodsandwich.com), has produced commercial and performance spots for Maks & Val from Dancing With The Stars, The Fuller Brush Company, Dancerpalooza and PACE University. Their work has been also been featured on FunnyOrDie.com.

When George and I started this show, it was our intention to build a bridge between Star Trek and everything else.  Well, unfortunately, the Everything Else portion of the show could never be fully achieved fully to the inability to communicate elements of Star Trek to what is actually happening around us with complete honesty.  Imagine trying to talk about The Borg's famous motto, "Resistance is Futile" without looking around at what's happening throughout the world and right here in our backyard.  But we have a plan that we've already tested and works so find out tonight what that plan is.  Thank you!

Jon Statham was raised on music.

His father worked at country music station WQIX, interviewing country music stars such as Loretta Lynn and Tanya Tucker. One time, during a live music broadcast, he was visited by members of Hank Williams band, who stopped in to play after hearing his broadcast.

Jon Statham - fiddleOne knew when they entered the Statham home, that this family treasured music. Whether it was dad playing guitar and singing country and folk songs from the 30’s and 40’s, to mom and the kids assigning vocal parts to an Irish ballad for church. There always seemed to be music flowing through the house.

Jon has honed his singing, guitar playing, and songwriting into a style that honors the classics, as well as offering a new voice that forwards the tradition of great rock, pop, and country music.

He had the pleasure of working with producer J.J. Blair on the soundtrack for the Warner Brothers DVD film The Utopian Society. J.J. is known for his work on the Rod Stewart album “The Great American Songbook III” and for his work with the late June Carter Cash. Jon arranged and sang backup vocals for some of the various artists that are on the soundtrack.

He has since played and produced thousands of recordings for artists all over the world.

Jon has lived and played music in New York, Nashville and Los Angeles and fills his days doing a lot of vocal studio work and writing songs.
