Independent Member for Murray Helen Dalton is closely scrutinising the NSW Government's decision-making processes in relation to the Murray-Darling Basin Plan after passing a new bill in the state's parliament last week.



Dalton appeared on the Country Viewpoint program this week to highlight that the state government must "stand up for rural communities" by not approving the sale of water entitlements.

Historical pubs and hotels across regional parts of Australia are closing down due to a range of reasons according to Anthony King, the son of the former owners of the Kooringa Hotel in Burra, South Australia.
