We all have our stuff. Addictions are mostly hidden but some not so hidden. Here the raw and honest conversation from someone who doesn't take herself too seriously and keeps you laughing while sharing  her self depricating humor that makes her a must hear from. Dana is doing incredible things that came from her surrendering her addiction with alcohol back in 2014. 
 From Dana:
"Friends, I have been sober since 2014. And if you count Covid 2020, that’s fourteen majillion years. 

I have a husband, two boys, two cats, and two dogs. I like to keep things even. But that would mean I would need two husbands and my stars that is too many.

One kid. One cat. The rest are milling about somewhere. 

Although maybe a second husband who just deals in installing Christmas lights? I could deal. He would show up once a year, scurry out of his home like a weird second husband elf, and help me with Christmas lights because GOD KNOWS THE FIRST HUSBAND NEVER DOES. 

Also, I am a writer and speaker because when I got sober this post went kinda viral and then I took my show on the road, so to speak. It’s a good road. 

As I write this, one dog is sitting on my feet. I am blessed. Truly."

We have all been there where we have said a cliche statement or typical personal question that in hindsight we may realize can be deeply personal, and sometimes intrusive and offensive. How can we ask better questions and be a master at communication and connection to make friends and help people feel valued. 

Here are the top NO NO's for Questions and Statements that are overused, offensive and overly personal, but better yet Im not only going to suggest what NOT to say but include so many examples of BETTER options! I think it's an episode that will be refreshing and insightful for all.

Did you know? More than 14,000 women and girls are being trafficked in the United States each year. They’re not always shipped in from different countries; a majority are from the United States. They are picked up by men who prey on women insecure with themselves, struggling to pay their bills in college, or are single mothers and no one is exempt. Sariah shares with boldness and bravery her experience and how she saves women from the streets today with God as her business partner.
