This Black History Month our focus was on Civic Engagement Matters and here is some of the topics that was covered along with the host insight from attending local redistricting meetings

1. Talk about the redistricting process as you’ve experienced it thus far. What are some of your top concerns?

Also local community news organization The Tributary address the redistricting concern and polls of how community member feels about the city council not drawing fair district lines by Andrew Pantazi..

We must communicate our traumas to our elected politicians to ensure the community views matters and not their seats for re-reelection.

Toler for a live virtual tour of the opening exhibit of Through Our Eyes: Journey to America - The Struggle and Resistance Art Exhibition from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum in South Africa that is on display at the Ritz Theatre & Museum from October 2021 to April 2022. This exhibit is hosted by the City of Jacksonville, Ritz Theatre & Museum, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and Nelson Mandela Bay.
