I’ve been using this really cool chat bot on my WordPress blog for months now.

I actually got it setup first in July 2020 and it’s been working tirelessly getting me subscribers and even made a few sales from it.

Pretty cool, right?

What is a chat bot?

Let’s first explain what I mean by a chat bot…

There are literally hundreds of them out there…

But they all pretty much do the same thing, some with more bells and whistles than others.

Some also more expensive than others, so kee that in mind when looking.

The one I use was a one-time lifetime purchase of $37 (not sure what it is now)

In any case, it’s a piece of software that asks your visitors questions and based on their answers has a conversation with them to help them along a path you define.

I got a message from a new friend the other day and they mentioned that they noticed I wasn’t getting much engagement on my Facebook profile posts.

They also said that sharing my videos from my page to my persona profile was an “engagement killer” in Facebook.

I checked out their profile and could see they probably knew what they were talking about.

Should you care about engagement?

Don’t get me know, I appreciate feedback from other marketers but I already knew all that.

It’s not like I’ve been online for over 5 years that I haven’t learned about how to get engagement on my personal posts and how Facebook penalizes you for sharing posts from your page.

So, you got your Facebook Ad account or Business account disabled!

I’ve been running Facebook Ads for over 5 years and was taken off guard when I was no longer able to edit my audiences.

See, every day, I post these episodes and add the Facebook video post to the list of videos to my custom audience.

But, on Dec 24th, 2020, I got the dreaded message “This a account is prohibited from advertising”!

How could they do that to me?

Another year is behind us and I took lots of time off between Christmas and New Years.

Now I have to catch up.

I would just skip a week but that doesn’t feel right to me.

For me, it’s quite a few things but that’s because I choose to do those things.

Why not plan ahead?

One thing I should have done is plan ahead.

Why didn’t I?

Mainly because I didn’t even think about it because I actually thought I’d have enough time to do what I normally do.

I had planned to work 4 hours a day to keep up but that made me realize that even though it takes me about only 2 hours a day, it’s not contiguous time.

A new year is here!

This is when we usually think of New Year’s resolutions.

I’ve been taking lots of time off in this last week.

It was a restful week but I can’t help to think about the plans for the New Year!

I will make this post short though because it was a long year.

Lots has happened in 2020 and we need a fresh start.

I had the last week on 2020 off from my day job.

I did still want to keep up with my episodes and blog posts although I didn’t full keep up.

It did make me realize a few things.

What’s to come for 2021?

I don’t know about you, but 2021 will be a year of results for me.

I’ve told myself that in the past many times but this year is different.

Many new friends were made, many new skills were learned.

Even though 2020 was the year of the Pandemic COVID-19, it was a year with lots of learning and skill improvements.

It was a pretty crazy year for sure, one that we will remember forever.

It was also a very sad year for many, some lost loved one to the pandemic and many got very sick.

We were very lucky to not have been hit by covid-19 but I know many weren’t lucky.
