There’s definitely a lot to do to host a master class and I’ve been talking about it a lot since I’m preparing to do one myself.

When you think about a master class, it’s easy to think you aren’t worthy of it.

You think to yourself: maybe I can do a class on this but I’m not good enough yet to do a master class!

Don’t kid yourself, you are good enough!

That takes us to the most important thing you need to host a master class.

It’s belief – belief in yourself, in the ability to delivery the class.

A master class is just like any other class but with a different name.

Why is it a “master” class?

I’m not sure what the real reason is, but for me, it’s about it being more important, being first or being more complete that just a regular class.

Choosing your topic

The next important thing you really need is to choose a topic that others will be willing to pay for.

I mean, if you are doing it to generate some income.

Obviously, if you just put it together to make money, it’s not going to work for very long.

If you’re putting together a master class, you’ll need people to attend.

You could get people to join by spending money on ads, but no one has enough money for that

Of course, once you have lots of social proof and you can sell your final recorded master class for $2,000 or $5,000 then ads will be fine I’m sure.

But what about in the beginning?

Yesterday, I talked about a mastermind that you could turn into a course.

What is a Master Class?

I’m not sure that there’s a single definition for a master class but this is my interpretation of what it is.

Personally, I see a master class as something that comes first.

It’s the master template or the first version of a class.

Typically, it’s a long process and takes several hours – I’d say anything above 12 hours could be considered a master class.

What’s difference between mastermind and master class?

Again, this is my interpretation, but for me, a mastermind is where multiple participants engage with the other participants to answer questions and give their perspective.

I got approved!

Well, maybe it’s not such a big deal, I’m sure they are approving lots of marketers.

I’m not sure anymore how I requested access to the platforms, but I’m guessing I wend to the TikTok ads url and requested it.

Anyway, I received the approval email and proceeded to setup my account.

Setting up the account

The first thing you’ll need to do is go to https://ads.tiktok.com and register the account.

It looks like they are opening the platform now, but I’m not sure if you can just register or not

In my case, the invitation link showed up in the URL, so I can’t be sure what would happen if you tried to register account – let me know what happens if you do.

Next step is just setting up the account basics such as Business Name, Phone and Currency.

Then you enter more info and choose your industry

Finally, you enter credit card information and add funds to your account.
