How did Course Income Secrets come to be?

What is my story before then?

Who am I?

Let’s start with the beginning…

As you know, my name is Jean-Serge Gagnon, I am an online marketer and a programer.

What you might not know if that I have 4 daughters, a wonderful wife and 4 grandkids!

I was born in a small town in Quebec, Canada called Sept-Iles (which means Seven Islands)

I moved a lot as a kid and never really had a dream of “I’ll be X when I grow up” other than I just always wanted money.

Not sure why but I knew it wasn’t by becoming a doctor or lawyer.

How I became a programmer

In my teens I learned to program and fell in love with the ability to control what the computer did.

Since I’m doing a webinar tonight using the perfect webinar framework (you can register at http://2HrWorkDay.com), and I needed to do my email, I thought I’d show you my process.

The tools I use are aWeber and Webinarjam but this process would be similar with most tools.

The idea is that you’ll want to send different emails to your registrants based on their actions.

What actions do you want to capture

It all depends on how complicated you want to make your integrations and you might not need to do this right away.

But over time you’ll probably want to implement emails for all these:

1- Registration

2- Attended full live webinar

3- Attended only part of webinar (left before pitch)

4- Missed webinar

5- Watched full replay

6- Watched only part of replay (left before pitch)

The perfect Webinar template suggests 3 emails to registrants and 3 emails post attendance.

When I look back, there are lots of things I did wrong and lots I did right too.

I would do things that I thought were okay, then I’d hear someone say not to do it…

but I’d always question everything…

That’s good but it can also be bad.

I did the same thing but, as I said, I wasn’t very good at believing it.

There are lots of numbers when you look at an election, right?

Right now, as I write this, Trump is at 214 and Biden is at 253 wins but the amount of red (Trump) on the map seems to be so much higher.

So, that brings up the question of numbers – what numbers are the important ones?

Yeah, I know, that’s not a good question since in elections it’s pretty well defined but I guess my point is that depending on how you look at it, you might come to different conclusions than others.

Numbers and your success online

How about someone who’s not in politics?

If you’re building a business online, you have lots of numbers to look at too.

Like, me, my numbers are pretty low, on average, but once in a while, you’ll get crazy results.

For example, when I look at my YouTube channel, I don’t even get 10 views per video, but one got 20k views and another 2.6k views.
