Children of Israel
There are three different people groups spoken of in the Book of Revelation:
The World - Non-Christians

The Church - All Christians also referred to as “Jews”

Israel - Children of Israel (Jacob)
Israel does not necessarily mean the same as “Jews.” Children of Abraham, included those adopted in are “Jews.” Jacob was referred to as “Israel” so Children of Israel are those who are biologically related to Jacob and settled in the land called Israel. After the sixth seal, before the trumpets are released, God addresses the “Children of Israel” who will become the 144,000 in Chapter 7 of Revelation.
We must carefully look at the scriptures and consider the time in which they were spoken and the time period in which they were translated to understand what is being said. Up to this point we have come to understand:
The AntiChrist will ride forth and the 1st seal may be broken before the signing of the agreement.

The rest of the four horsemen ride forth while Christians are being killed for their faith.

The Two Witnesses are prophesying, giving testimony against cities and nations calling down plagues and then are killed; their bodies displayed in Jerusalem.

Satan is kicked out of Heaven creating earthquakes so that every mountain and island are shaken and ash fills the skies.

One of the gifts from the Holy Spirit is interpretation. You must understand God, be knowledgeable about the Bible and be able to hear from the Holy Spirit to operate with Him to bring understanding. Often this gift is used for dreams, as with Joseph and Daniel, but it can be applied to numbers when they come in a miraculous way.
