701 - 12 Philadelphia & Laodicea

These two are the last ones of the revelation churches. Between them, the Philadelphia church needs to hold on to what they have and the Laodicea church needs to rekindle their zeal for the Lord.   Now is a good time to take a close look at all the churches of Revelation, to see if you want to change churches before it is too late!

Today we will complete the teachings on the Revelation churches. As I spent time with the Lord in the Secret Place, He had a message for all His churches:

I love you, I love you, My beautiful bride.

I came for you, gave all for you, to be by My side.

Look to Me, walk with Me, do not waiver left or right.

The path is narrow, not broad nor wide, be guided by the Light.

701 - 11 Thyatira & Sardis

Out of all the churches we have looked at so far, only one is right on target and headed for Heaven. You know you are in the righteous church if Christians are being persecuted and killed in your country. If this isn’t happening, then you should look at what is being said about the churches to determine which church you are part of. Now is a good time to take a close look at all the churches of Revelation, to see if you want to change churches before it is too late!

The Lord knew that when He would return, His body, the world-wide church, would have the same issues they were experiencing when John wrote the Book of Revelation. We should look at the description of the churches of Revelation and ask ourselves these two questions:

If either of these apply, we should understand that the consequences and/or benefits of that church apply to us as well. Where do you want to be in the Body of Christ? Christians should ponder the descriptions of the churches of Revelation until they know whether or not they apply to their lives.

Seven is God’s number of perfection in the physical. There are seven churches mentioned in Revelation. The Lord knew this prophecy would need to be applied to the church body for years to come. We need to examine the body of believers we are associated with to see if it has the characteristics mentioned in the churches of Revelation.
