Coutts protester granted bail pending appeal of conviction

Chris Carbert, jailed for the 2022 Coutts blockade, has been granted bail pending an appeal of his prior conviction and prison sentence. According to the Canadian Press, Canada’s first-ever LNG shipment has left Kitimat for Asia.
