Following Jesus requires that you focus on the basics. It means that you always strive to love your enemies, serve with humility, give sacrificially, and walk obediently.

Christian leaders accept the highest standards and strive to live by them. They have strong godly character both inside and outside the church.

Your relationships are important when it comes to living on mission. Live in such a way that you are pointing to Jesus, not drawing attention to yourself.

Following Jesus doesn't keep you from pain and suffering. Yet, there is always a reason to rejoice in suffering. It's the suffering that draws you to Jesus and the splendor of His glory that is soon to come.

Your mission with Jesus requires you to engage the world around you. The biblical response to the world around us is neither withdrawal nor warfare. Your response is to witness.

Your life will tell the story of good news. The people around you will see the truth that is in you by the way you love others. Live in such a way that all people will glorify God.

If Jesus becomes the love of your life, you can say goodbye to being afraid of anything else. There is nothing you’re scared to lose. Your fear is gone because you’re enraptured with the beauty of Jesus.

The world tells you to think about many things, to have many goals, to maintain many relationships, and only give a little corner of your mind to seeking God. The Bible tells us to give our complete devotion to God and get ready for action.

The Resurrection of Jesus was not the end of discipleship training. Disciples know that Jesus' victory over the grave was a bold beginning in His mission of seeking and saving the lost.

You will never do great things in the kingdom of God if you try to do them in your own strength. Disciples of Jesus know what to ask in prayer and trust that God will provide.
