It is possible to attend church, serve on church committees, be a good financial giver and still not know Jesus. Who Jesus is and what He came to do is the most important thing a disciple can know.

A disciple of Jesus knows that serving isn't simply for the benefit of another person. Jesus teaches that by serving you can see the amazing multiplying power of God.

The bad news is that the mission of Jesus will require you to leave all your securities behind. The good news is that Jesus will provide everything that you need and then some.

If you are a disciple of Jesus, you will have to face the storms of life. When the waves come, however, you can trust that Jesus has all the power you need to calm the storm.

Disciples of Jesus are always listening to God so that they can obey. Jesus teaches that obedience is indispensable in living life as a disciple. Obedience puts you in a position to produce fruit in the Kingdom of God.

Your kingdom mission is to help others have a right relationship with God and with each other. This peace keeping mission requires that you give of yourself.

The world is desperately seeking happiness but you can show them something greater. True joy is found only in the risk and wonder of living on mission with Christ.
