God has an awesome plan for your life. This is your life mission and should you choose to accept it, the world will never be the same. Your mission is to make a difference in the lives of people who are near you.

Your “worst-case scenario” is a haunting kind of fear that can range from the very unlikely to the downright ridiculous. But Jesus offers something more powerful. He offers a peace that you can experience in your darkest hour.

Fear is almost always a bad thing. But there is one kind of fear that God wants you to have. This is a healthy fear that keeps every other fear away. The psalmist promises that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The struggle to keep and stay ahead of the game is the nightmare of our day. There is never enough time, energy, or money. Thankfully, Jesus prescribes a kind of life that does not depend on keeping up with the crowd.

It seems that everyone is afraid of failure. Yet, the question to ask is not, “Will I ever fail?”. The important question is “What will I do after I fail?”. Jesus loves us too much to leave us in doubt about His Grace.

Your ability to respond to life's troubles and challenges often determines how well you sleep at night. Jesus was an expert storm sleeper and He teaches His disciples how to rest well by having faith in Him.

When Jesus loved, He loved in ways never imagined. Though rich, he became poor to love the poor, the forgotten, the overlooked and the outcast. He catered to the margins. The good news is that He loves all people and He encourages us to do the same.

Wise men and women understand that some things in life are worth great sacrifice. Aren’t you thankful that there is more to Christmas than giving a sweater two sizes too big or tie that doesn’t match? The good news is that Jesus is worthy of your time, your energy, and your financial sacrifice.

How often have you spent money on presents or received gifts for no other reason than obligation? Thanks, but no thanks, right? The good news is that there is another way. If you worship Jesus the King every other kingdom will fade away.
