We continue our study in Joshua Chapter 23 as Joshua directs his speech toward the Israelite leaders. What does he remind them of? The Lord is faithful- in all things. This morning, we continue in the book of Joshua. As the chapter begins, we see Manasseh, Gad, and Reuben cross the Jordan to settle on the land given to them. While there, they construct an altar to the Lord that provokes war with the rest of Israel. As the story plays out, we see a picture of a confrontation, built on assumption, lead to a mutual understanding and reconciliation. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord.

This Sunday, we finished up the allotments of land in Joshua. As a final note, Joshua lays out the establishment of refuge cities. As we look at the text, Dolan highlights several aspects of God's character. We see that He places supreme value on human life, that He intends for all of his people to be cared for, and lastly, that all men require refuge. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord.

As Hank teaches through the allotment of the Israelite's inheritance, we see a "small" biblical truth- God is sovereign over the details. God doesn't show up, God never leaves. This morning, Hank walks through Joshua 13 and 14 as Joshua outlines the dividing up of the land. The land was a gift for the Israelites because they were the Lord’s people. They didn’t earn it, they received it as a gift. While this land is plentiful, their true gift is the Lord himself.

Every year starts in pursuit of something. We think about things we want to accomplish, save up for, work towards, and even just maintain. Sometimes we prioritize things that don't really matter. Graciously, when we look to our relationship and walk with Christ Jesus, if you know him, the goal has already been accomplished. In Him, you have been made a new creation. It was not your doing, nor did you want it. Salvation is free because God loved and pursued His people. As you begin 2023, remember the Gospel- Christ Jesus has washed you with His blood and made you new.
