Following Jesus and believing the Word gives us

a perspective on things that sets us apart from everybody else. This should affect our decisions. There are lots of beliefs about life and humanity. We have to understand what the Word says before we take sides.

God takes us through a process so that we can receive more of His power. This process isn't easy. The tough times you're going through today will lead you to more of His anointing. We'll look at this through the life of Job.

God’s will for us, in this year and every year, is to be free and full. Free of self, and full of Jesus. So how do we get there? Let's look at several places in the Bible that God talks about these things.

God wired us to have seasons in our lives. Most of us right now are taking the time to think about where we are in life and what we could do better in the next season. As we prepare ourselves for a new season, let’s briefly talk about three mindsets that might help get you ready for A New Season that will help position you in the will of God for your life.

When I read the account of Christmas in the Bible, I see certain groups of people there. Some were ready for Jesus while others were not. But why weren’t they ready for Jesus? I want to talk about three reasons why most of the people in the biblical Christmas story, and many of us today, are Not Ready for Jesus.

Christmas truly is about gifts, but it isn’t about the things that are concealed under the tree, it was the thing that was revealed ON the tree. What Jesus was born to do, and what He fulfilled on the cross, was to bring us a new and exciting gift.

We are in the middle of what many songs try to tell us is the most wonderful time of the year, but for many people, it is the opposite of that. The holiday season is for many people the most difficult time of the year. The Bible provides a road map to gratitude that we can follow no matter how difficult our current circumstances.

Jesus commanded that we take part in communion to remember what He did for us and to be reminded that He is coming back for us. The Greek word for this is Eucharist and it literally means thanksgiving. What gifts are represented by communion?
