Hey Kids! We are BACK with a special edition of Cover to Covered as we give a preview of the releases coming on the Black Friday edition of Record Store Day and talk about which ones WE are looking forward to.

Also, we'll take about seeing Kiss on the 'End of the Road' tour, Jellyfish re-releases on vinyl, "DIS-Covered", "This Song Sucks", and MORE!

On this episode of Cover to Covered, Mike and Nick will be joined by the internationally reknown BOB TYRRELL - one of the best tattooers in the world, and a damn fine guitar player as well...even for a lefty! We'll talk to Bob about tattooing, playing guitar in front of festival sized audiences, and a list of the ULTIMATE Live Albums of all time! We will also have our usual segments - 'DIS-Covered' and 'This Song SUCKS!'. Check it out!!

We went LIVE on Wednesday, August 23rd, and discussed our - and YOUR - favorite concerts! WListeners wrote in with their top 3 favorite concerts and WHY they were their favorites, and we share them with everyone! We also talk about what makes a concert great...or not so great. And we touch on some of our not so great concert experiences as well.

WE'RE BACK and worse than ever. Nothing has improved, all is the same...but regardless - we are BACK! WEEEEEE'RE BACK!!! At least for one week. Mike and Nick make a semi-triumphant return to 'Cover to Covered' at the halfway point on the year, going over the best AND worse from 2023 - so far! We'll discuss the best and worse releases - not necessarily new ALBUMS, but new RELEASES - as well as Josh Freese being brought on as the touring drummer for the Foo Fighters, why Ticketmaster, Live Nation, et al, now telling you all the fees UP FRONT DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, why every touring show plays Detroit on a Wednesday, most likely a visit from Fat Gene SImmons, and of course our most loved segments - 'DIS-covered' and 'This song SUCKS'!

This episode, Mike and Nick will talk about the 'Bands that Bands Love' - the bands that influenced some of the greatest bands ever. Example: Led Zeppelin influenced tons of bands, but WHO influenced THEM? Some you may have heard of, and some are hidden gems, but we will talk about a bunch of them this week as well as Snoop Dogg, Streaming, a call back to 'Kiss Air', and our regular segments - 'DIS-Covered' and 'This Song Sucks'. Ok, so...this isn't as 'crunchy granola, hippie-dippy' as one might think. This isn't necessarily about songs that are 'happy', but songs that can INSTANTLY get you out of a bad mood! Ok, we are BACK just in time to celebrate ONE YEAR of Mike and Nick doing this silly show! We talk about the good times, the bad times, and "Dreams" by Van Halen. Mike also goes NUTS about a horrible travel experience that is ALL true, but HARD to believe!!! We'll also recap Record Store day, review "72 Seasons" by Metallica, and of course "DIS-covered" and "THIS SONG SUCKS!"

50 years - wow. "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd - one of the most famous, successful and influential albums of ALL TIME is turning 50 this year, and Mike (who was very sick this episode) and Nick wax poetic on this incredible effort of musicianship and ingenuity in recording and engineering. In addition, we did a LIVE UNBOXING of the 50th Anniversary Box Set that is being released on March 24th - so listen to what we found!!!!

The END OF THE ROAD is here...or so Kiss says. The tickets for the final leg of the (supposedly) final tour of Kiss' career go on sale Friday, and with that, Mike and Nick thought it would be appropriate to go through the bulk of Kiss' catalog, give a quick review of each album, and create a playlist of our favorites from each album...but we needed help... SO... we are happy to have RO KOHLI of (the appropriately named) WAR MACHINE MERCH and complete Kiss NERD to help us sum up 50 years of Kiss! We'll also talk about what's on our turntables, and of course our staple segments "DIS-Covered" and "THIS SONG SUCKS"!
