On Friday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare reported 1,112 new cases and 12 new deaths, bringing the statewide total to 154,470 known cases and 1,603 deaths.
The Eastern Idaho Health District lifted mandatory mask orders in Fremont and Lemhi counties. Those counties were returned to minimal risk level but authorities warned that residents still should take precautions and wear masks when not able to maintain safe distances.
Central District Health reports that in their area, demand for the vaccine far outstrips the supply.
As of this morning, 41,424 Idahoans have received COVID-19 vaccinations; of that group, 9,739 have received both doses.
