On Tuesday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare reported 350 new cases and 13 new deaths. That brings the statewide total to 176,007 known cases and 1,929 deaths.
This week, the state expects to receive more than 50,000 first doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and 2,500 doses of the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
The state announced that starting April 12th, Idahoans ages 16-44 with qualifying pre-existing medical conditions will be eligible to get vaccinated. Then, beginning April 26th, all Idahoans older than 16 will be eligible. Currently, Idahoans older than 55 with pre-existing conditions are eligible.
