On Friday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare reported 383 new cases of coronavirus and 3 new deaths due to COVID-19-related causes. The statewide total now stands at 177,185 known cases and 1,941 deaths.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Committee voted Friday to include congregate living facilities in vaccine Group 3 regardless of age and medical conditions. That includes people living in domestic violence shelters, residential treatment facilities, and people in jails and prisons. CVAC makes recommendations to Governor Brad Little, and he will make the ultimate decision.
