On Monday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare added 332 cases and no new deaths to its statewide total, bringing the statewide total to 169,584 known cases and 1,826 deaths.
More than 210,000 Idahoans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including forty percent of Idahoans aged 65 or older.
Vaccination rates still vary county by county, however. As of today, one fourth of Blaine County residents have received at least one dose, but immediately to the south, just 7 percent of Lincoln County residents are inoculated, the lowest percentage in the state.
Meanwhile, hospitalizations and ICU admissions continue to drop statewide. This comes as the United States passed the grim milestone of half a million recorded deaths today.
