New research demonstrates that people with type O positive or negative blood are testing positive for COVID-19 at a lower rate. This is the 3rd study around blood types and what we don't know yet if it means that people with O blood are more protected or people with other blood types are more vulnerable. A contributing factor may be that type O blood is prone to less clotting.
